O.T./P.T.

(OCCUPATIONAL AND PHYSICAL THERAPY)

O.T/P.T may only seem applicable to physical limitations but the connection between your brain and body is more than just physicality. How your mind functions in your day to day activities goes beyond just making your body move. For our son, part of the progress is not just learning how to move his fingers to count to five...it's discovering that this physical activity can in turn help him in problem solving.

The good news is that this type of therapy is widely accepted and used in most disability forums. You can find many private practices that are available to you. We've found most if not all schools that work with autistic children have some form of Occupational and Physical Therapy.
